AnyDB Signature Cell
Signature Cell Type
Signature cells are designed to store e-signatures. They can be used for capturing signatures electronically, making them ideal for forms and documents that require a signature.
Signing process
- Mark a Cell as Signature: Mark a cell as a signature cell. This will enable the signature functionality for that cell.
- Share the document with the user: Share the document with the user who needs to sign it. The user will receive a link to access the document. You can share it directly or share it as a form.
- User sees the signature cell: When the user opens the document, they will see the signature cell marked for signing. The cell will be empty by default.
- Click to Sign: When the user clicks on the signature cell, a signature pad will appear.
- Signing: the user can use their mouse or touchpad to draw their signature on the pad. Once they are satisfied with their signature, they can click the "Save" button to save it.
- Complete: the document will now show the signature in the cell. The signature will be saved as an image, and the user can view it by clicking on the cell.
tip
Note: To clear the signature, the user can click on the cell again and hit the "Delete" button. This will remove the signature from the cell. Alternatively, you can right click on the cell and select "Clear Content" from the context menu.
